We could offer to start, 3 presets to modulate the calculation and application of the index.

The way the Index is showing reality. With its extremes (?) and full scope.

Full moderated
The same index but with extremes brought back to the center, keeping the same shape, but reducing the scope of the curve ?

Robin Hood
Where the price stays low for the countries under the 100 average in the full flat, but where they ae calculated with a bigger stretch above the 100

INDEX GENERATION

Grabbing data (via API) from

  • Numbeo
  • OECD
  • WorldBank
  • ....

- set up the "100", central value ?
- calculate the raw value for each countruy
- round up per currency ...
- round up for stores.


Index Usage

- pure ricing ( rounding up by currency only)

- ".99" ( rounding up by currency only + marketing adjustment )

- To store ( Apple price table as reference )
